What Are the Elements of a Poster?

Posters are a versatile medium for sharing information and displaying art. They can be used for everything from advertising and promoting events to adding creativity and personality to interior design.
But how exactly a metal poster is created?
In this blog, we'll explain step by step how is created wall art in our company – Linked frame. From a geographical place in the world to a poster on your home or office.

The Stage of the Photography Process:

At Linked Frame, we go to different locations across the planet to capture the most exclusive and unique places in pictures.  After hundreds and sometimes thousands of taken pictures our photographer picks „the one “.
Our professional photographer put in a lot of effort to capture the perfect shot that can be turned into a stunning poster.

Editing and Working on the Image:

Each picture that we capture is edited and worked to a higher level of accuracy and professionalism. We use various editing tools and software to enhance the images, from adjusting the colors and tones to removing any imperfections and blemishes. We use the best-performing tools to highlight the perfection of the surrounding world. This stage is crucial for giving the image a polished and finished look.

Printing on a Metallic Surface:

Once the image is perfected, we transfer it onto a metallic surface, specifically Aluminium DIBOND®. This material is both lightweight and strong, making it durable and long-lasting.
The surface of the material magically brings out every detail, volume, texture, and shape in the image, which gives life to the poster in the true sense of the word. The application technique gives the feeling of reality, it is so vivid that you have the impression that you are looking through a portal into another reality.

Elements of a Metal Decorative Poster:

  1. Image/Visual: The image is the main feature of a metal decorative poster. It should be high-quality, striking, and relevant to the theme or message of the poster.
  2. Frame/Border: The frame or border is what surrounds the image, providing a sense of structure and organization. It can be simple or complex, depending on the desired effect, or it might be just frameless for the sake of Minimalism.
  3. Text/Caption (if there is a need for one): This is the text that provides context or information about the image or theme of the poster. It can be simple or elaborate, depending on the desired effect.
  4. Hanging System: A hanging system is an essential element of a metal decorative poster, allowing it to be displayed easily and securely on a wall. Different hanging systems can be used depending on the size, weight, and desired effect of the poster.

The colors, vibration, structure, and durability of the metal poster make it superior to traditional paper posters.
Each poster is crafted with care from the selection of the image to the transfer of the image onto the Aluminium DIBOND® surface. The image, frame or border, caption or text, and hanging system all come together to create a visually appealing and high-quality finished product. At Linked Frame, we take great pride in our commitment to quality, ensuring that each metal decorative poster we create is a work of art in its own right.
